Around one month after surgery, the swelling went down quickly and the line settled into place. As the swelling went down, I started wearing contact lenses. Before surgery, when putting in lenses, I had to hold my upper and lower eyelids and open my eye wide to get them in, but now I can put them in easily by just holding the lower lid slightly.
