Liposuction Reviews

8 months after hip joint + hip lift surgery (photos to be deleted later)

There are a lot of people curious about hip lift surgery, so I’m posting a review with a lot of personal thoughts! After the surgery, I kept up with aftercare consistently while recovering. I maintained the result pretty well through exercise and active things like hiking, but is it like creating the result through surgery and then maintaining it through care? Still, I think timing is important. Hip surgery takes more time than expected to get back to daily life..

What really made me realize that it improved my hips was that there was a clear limit to how much I could lift them through exercise, but once I saw the changed shape, I started wanting even more. The area I think is hardest to change through exercise is the butt and special areas that are hard to reduce, too. Because the advantages after surgery and with exercise are both big, I’m still satisfied even now as time has passed.

When people look into hip lift surgery, I think many of you will also look into fillers or implants. The effect is definitely good. As for filler or implant surgery, though, I personally absolutely recommend fat grafting!

People say it can fade because of the take rate and that it’s hard to manage, but over time the maintenance is still decent, and with the other surgeries the drawbacks are clear, so if you’re looking into hips, I recommend looking into fat grafting.

Other procedures, to put it simply, have that unique foreign-body feeling and worries about side effects, future replacement or removal, etc.. I don’t think cosmetic surgery itself is really permanent, but the drawbacks are just too... I went around and looked into fat grafting without even thinking about anything else.

And also, you can’t exercise right after surgery. Usually they tell you to rest for more than a month before resuming exercise or active activities, but I think I only started exercising almost three months later while just focusing on aftercare. It varies by person, but I recommend setting a fairly generous recovery period before proceeding!

It’s been about 8 months since the surgery now, and there’s been no volume loss or change in the butt. It feels like it settled in naturally, so I don’t have any worries now!

Anyway, it’s hard for all cosmetic surgery to be perfectly satisfying, and it’s hard for everyone to be satisfied, but I think making it after surgery is entirely up to you.

The duration of bruising and pain after surgery will differ from person to person, but in my case the bruising gradually faded by around week 3, and the major pain seemed to get better from around week 2. I did feel a slight pulling sensation later on!

What made me feel the highest level of satisfaction after the hip lift was that when putting on clothes, and when looking in the mirror, the change in shape was immediately noticeable, so the satisfaction is really good. For those preparing for a hip lift, I hope you do your research thoroughly and find a really good hospital and have a dramatic change!
