I had adult acne come up, but it wasn’t pustular or anything like that; the closed comedonal acne was really severe. After acne treatment, I proceeded with pigmentation and scar treatment.
Acne: PDT, Capri, scaling (extraction), LHALA Peel, Aqua Peel, etc.
1. PDT is a treatment done by an aesthetician, and the effect is good 2. Capri targets acne spots directly without anesthesia; it doesn’t hurt and works well. Both PDT and Capri were done after extraction. 3. Scaling was also done after extraction. Sometimes more breakouts come up, but they calm down in about a week 4. LHALA Peel wasn’t great for me. I don’t know why it’s good or why people do it. I was seriously flustered because I got breakouts on my neck after LHALA Peel. It was my first time getting breakouts on my neck… A lot of people say it’s good, but it didn’t suit my oily skin. 5. I’m getting Aqua Peel every week. It might just be in my head, but I think the effect is good.
My criteria for choosing a clinic are 1. First, it has to be close to my office and home. On the way home from work 2. I try Aqua Peel and extraction, and I skip places where extraction is too painful 3. I skip places that do laser treatments carelessly 4. I skip places where I have to wait 30-40 minutes even with a reservation 5. It has to be a clinic that has the laser I want (very important)
Personally, after going to several clinics, I prefer settling on one clinic and going there regularly. That way, I can talk with the doctor about changes in my skin and discuss what to do next. However, if they don’t have the laser I want, I go to another clinic only when getting that laser
