In 2013, I had double eyelid surgery + a retruded chin implant (silicone). I’m satisfied with the double eyelids.. but the implant flared up with inflammation once in 2020, and I calmed it down with antibiotics + steroids. Since then, on days when I drink a lot or feel tired, I sometimes have pain and a feeling of heat. I used it well for nearly 8 years without side effects, but I think it’s time to let it go now. Is there any place that does implant removal surgery well?
Personally, I neither recommend nor discourage a retruded chin implant. I had a long retruded chin, and my impression changed to look a bit sharper, so I lived quite satisfied with it. However, looking at everyone including myself, it seems there eventually comes a time when you have to take it out. In conclusion, I recommend it if you don’t drink alcohol, and don’t recommend it if you like drinking.. hahaha
