Before/before/after/after Review of rhinoplasty (hump nose and deviated nose correction) + full-face fat grafting (excluding the chin)
I have a long, flat-looking face, so I was always concerned that my pressed-down nose, like Squidward’s, made this complex stand out even more~ Especially from the front, my nose was noticeably deviated, bulbous, and slightly arrow-shaped, and from the side, the hump and nasal tip were severely pressed down, so I lived thinking that I had a very protruding mouth.
Actually, before visiting B the New Clinic, I had a consultation at another plastic surgery clinic that was said to be famous, but they flatly told me that the design direction I wanted was not possible. They only made unnecessary recommendations, saying I had to use donated costal cartilage, so I left right away. I also asked because I have rhinitis whether I needed functional nasal surgery too, but I remember they only looked at that part roughly and moved on, so I thought rhinoplasty should be done by an otolaryngology specialist!
In the actual consultation, Director Jung Tae-young also looked inside my nose and told me it was not to the point of needing rhinitis surgery, which made me more certain. He showed me nose photos of patients with nose shapes similar to mine and helped me anticipate how I could change after surgery, so I decided to have the surgery.
The consultant also listened calmly to my concerns in such a friendly way, like an older sister, and when I said fat grafting was a procedure I had never thought about, she told me without any pressure at all that it would be okay to think about it after rhinoplasty, which was a big help in making my choice.
Now that the nose, the center of the face, stands naturally, and there is also fat in my hollow cheeks, my lines look more refined and more lively :) I also like that rhinoplasty has the effect of making my protruding mouth look corrected!
