I got the facial contouring surgery I had been thinking about for over 10 years at ㅅㅅㅇ, and now I'm almost at week 2.
I worried so much before surgery, but Director Park Jong-rim, who performed my surgery, and the consultant both provided very thorough consultations, so I was able to feel truly reassured, decide on the surgery, and get on the operating table.
Especially during the final consultation before going into surgery, I was so nervous that I was really trembling, but the director reassured me well, saying the surgery would go well and that he would do his best safely, so I was able to feel truly at ease and get on the operating table.
Right after surgery, there was some pain, but when I told the staff member, they immediately gave me a pain-control injection, so from about 1 hour later I didn't have any particular pain. This time I had chin setback surgery (mini V), and since I was scheduled to be discharged the same day, I was a little worried about how I would get home, but they took good care of me after surgery, so about 3 hours after the surgery finished, I went home without any particular difficulty.
As the director told me, the swelling was really severe from the day after surgery through day 3, but from day 4, the swelling went down really dramatically. (As the director instructed, I worked really hard with cold compresses~^^)
Since I am an office worker, I went back to work right after one week after surgery, but only swelling about the level of having had a dermatology procedure remained, so there was no particular difficulty doing my work at the company.
Before surgery, I was really stressed because of my protruding lower jaw that was not resolved even after orthodontic treatment, but the protruding-jaw impression has dramatically improved, so my psychological satisfaction is huge. As the director told me at the 2-week consultation, I still have a lot of swelling left, so thinking that I will only become slimmer from here makes every day enjoyable.
My friends also say things like, "Your chin went right in!" and "Sorry I tried to stop you before surgery," and that the surgery turned out so well. I'm so, so happy the surgery was successful~~^^
