While looking into eye surgery, I had a lot of time and went to a bunch of places. The problem, if it is a problem, is that there wasn't really anywhere that pulled me in, but I'll write up my visit review. I'll keep it casual.
My eyes are the kind that are long horizontally, a typical monolid, with thick skin and a lot of orbital fat. I also have a little inward-turning, so I lived by pulling out two or three eyelashes on each side every month, but this time I couldn't pull them out and got a stye, so I got lazy and started looking into surgery.
1. ㅈㅇㅈ (ㅇㅊㅇ) The doctor was very confident. Spoke in a somewhat upbeat way, and the line wasn't bad either. The doctor had a slight preference for double eyelids.. Recommended a thin double eyelid with incision + lower eyelid correction 310
2. ㅇㅇㄹㅇ(ㅇㅈㅎ) Had the look and speech of a neighborhood uncle.. Unusually, they use a technique they themselves developed?? Partial incision, kind of tightly tied.. Can do monolid, inner double, or double eyelid Also recommended triple canthoplasty and lower eyelid correction.. All together, cash price 330
3. ㅇㅇㅂ(ㅂㅅㅎ) Came in right away, pinched a few times, and recommended non-incisional eye correction. Said an incision could be done, but it would probably scar a lot. Said other things like canthoplasty probably weren't needed. Said if it loosens later, just come back for revision surgery, and left after saying they'd do non-incision. Review-condition 90

6. ㄷㅇㅇ(???) Was about 10 minutes late.. But they kept me waiting about 40 minutes, so I just said I didn't want the consultation and left. Just to note the vibe: it felt like a factory-style clinic, and even though it was a weekday morning, there were tons of people, though the reception staff were very kind..
7. ㅂ(ㅎㅇㅌ) Reserved. Didn't set the line........... Just held my eye and said something like, "You can make it about this big, right?" and said I didn't need eye correction, that this was an eye that would be solved with double eyelid surgery. Recommended incision, front canthoplasty + a thin inner double eyelid 215

9. ㅌㅍㅇㅅ(ㅊㅈㅎ) Kind, gave long explanations, and explained things in an easy-to-understand way. Almost all the reviews are from women, like 95%.. Maybe they were matching my face to the overall harmony, or maybe they have a lot of experience with female procedures, because they kept recommending double eyelids.. they said they usually set the line high. I don't know if I'm being too picky or if my eyes are just ambiguous.. The doctors all said different things.. and the lines also didn't really pull me in, so I've become a pro at visiting places and still don't know where to do it... Tomorrow I'll go to four more places: ㄴㄴ ㅈㅇㅌ ㅌㅇㅅ ㅈㅅㅌ, and if none of them feels convincing, I might just not do it and live while pulling out eyelashes..
