It wasn't like I felt I was going to die after surgery, but the day of surgery was a bit hard for me lol Maybe because I normally don't work out and my stamina is seriously terrible I went to consultations at two places and had it done at the place I was most drawn to (I thought, if I do it here, at least the shape will be pretty). I'll write everything out from the day of surgery, so please bear with me even if my wording is all over the place lol
On the day of surgery, I really don't remember what state of mind I went in with. I barely slept the night before, you know? I was so tired.. I had also fasted, so I went in half-dead, changed clothes at the hospital, sat there blankly, and when they told me to come this way, I went. They said they were going to start anesthesia, and as soon as the anesthesia kicked in, my memory cut off
And when I opened my eyes, I was insanely groggy. I kept hearing them tell me to breathe, and then I thought, oh, is the surgery over? I guess the surgery is over. My throat hurt and I felt nauseous I think it was because of the anesthesia. I wanted to gulp down water right away, but because of the fasting rules they told me to hold off and that they would give it to me when it was over, so I held back for now The nurses came in from time to time to check my condition, and the director also came on rounds and said the surgery went well
Then it started hurting from my back area.. I thought, who said breast surgery doesn't hurt? I don't know if it was because it was dual-plane and they split the muscle, but it felt like I couldn't move my body? Any movement that put strength into my upper body,, I felt like I couldn't do it. But like a miracle,,,,, by the time I was discharged, I got better and could move around a bit, so I called Kakao Taxi and went home
I was originally going to order porridge, eat, and sleep, but maybe because I had fasted, I was so so so so hungry.. So I ordered spicy chicken, ate it properly with egg porridge, and slept (though opening the lid was honestly an unexpectedly hellish task lol). The next day I got up all limp and drank Lingtea instead of coffee,,, that’s what I did
Then I went to the hospital, had the bandages removed, and saw my breasts for the first time. Oh!!.... I felt this sense of wonder + a bit of emotion, like I finally have breasts, but at the same time I thought, they seem smaller than I expected???? I briefly thought, should I have gone bigger? But from the start I didn't want breasts that were that large, I wanted natural-looking breasts, so that thought really lasted about 1 second. Then I thought, yes, I'm glad I did this size. Hmm, there isn't as much upper-pole fullness as I expected and it looks natural?? (The director said the surgery went well and that we should watch the shape settle gradually.) And surprisingly there was no mention of a compression bra, so I just went straight home
And exactly 3 days later, I could move well on my own and use my arms well, but I'm trying to avoid deliberately putting strength into them. Not being able to sleep curled up on my side is an unexpected obstacle, but I'm living with the thought that it can't be helped,, lololol But even after a week, lying down and getting up, that movement that uses upper-body strength, was still hard. I guess I haven't adjusted Since I'm only at week 2 now, I probably need to hang in there a bit longer, right?
Still, when I measured my bust circumference, it came out to a C hehe This is seriously so good. It feels like I got an alphabet letter I never had before. There are scary stories that it gets smaller after swelling goes down, so I'm nervous, but they say it doesn't go down enough to change the size, so for now I'm going to think of my size as C lololol I'm getting really curious about my progress at 1 month and 3 months.... hehe Right now the feel is firm, but by then it should feel pretty soft too, right? I hope time passes quickly and I reach the stable phase soon With my current patience,, it feels like time is passing way too slowly, so it's a problem lolol
