I'm leaving a review of having two facial contouring procedures at Taco Plastic Surgery!!
I had my cheekbones and square jaw done. My cheekbones weren't that large, but I got them reduced out of desire, and since my square jaw was somewhat developed, I wanted it reduced into a clean line.
On the day of surgery, I was very worried because I had heard plenty about how painful facial contouring is, but I remember Dr. Tak Ho holding both my hands tightly and telling me to relax and just think about becoming prettierㅎㅎ
Right after surgery, the most painful area wasn't my cheekbones or jaw, but my throatㅠㅠ I don't know why, but the surgical areas throbbed at a tolerable level, while the throat pain from general anesthesia was the hardest part of all!!
After about 4 hours, all the pain went away and I felt like I could live again.. Then I spent one night at the hospital. The nurses were also extremely kind. When dawn came and I felt a bit better, I walked around, looked outside, and got lost in thought..^^ Around 8 o'clock, Dr. Tak Ho came and checked my progress.. I definitely feel like I saw him even after 9 p.m., but he left work late and came in early. Hearing that it turned out beautifully made me incredibly happy. Even though I was wearing the compression band, I could actually feel that my face had gotten smallerㅎㅎ
After discharge and until about 3 months, the swelling was so severe by my standards that I actually looked worse!! I was stressed because my midface looked bulging, so I went to a dermatology clinic and got a ton of InMode treatments.
Now it's been about 8 months, and wherever I go, people tell me my face is small! Since I was already doing it, I even thought maybe I should have done the chin tip tooㅋㅋ Since my face is smaller, my overall proportions look better, and I feel like the other parts of my face stand out more too.
Now the time to remove the fixation pins is slowly coming!
