I think my nose surgery failed. I know it has only been 8 days and that it is too early to judge. But when I face my current appearance, where the image I had imagined and the image I originally had before surgery, my individuality, seem to have disappeared, I just start crying.
The nose surgery I had was osteotomy + columella lowering + nasal tip (septal cartilage, ear cartilage). If I look only at the nose, excluding my face shape, eyes, and mouth, I think the nose itself is a really pretty nose. But what matters is that the face ultimately needs harmony, and my nose is asserting itself all on its own.
The nasal tip is lifted, so my nostrils are clearly visible, and because of that my philtrum looks longer. The nasal tip that was raised to make the tip look slim does not suit me after all. The osteotomy does not seem that different from before, so I wonder why I did it, and honestly I am not sure about the columella lowering either. I really do not like the front view or the side profile.
So I am thinking about removal surgery. I am torn between whether I should have early removal or wait and monitor the progress, then proceed with removal surgery after 6 months. I feel like during the time I would have to endure before removal surgery, I would not be able to meet people properly and would just waste time, and that feels like such a shame, so I regret it.
What should I do? Wait and monitor the progress, then remove it after 6 months? Or early removal? Would early removal really be easy?

>Follow-up to this post (written on June 25, 2022) : I am writing this for anyone who might be curious. At first, I decided on early removal, consulted with the hospital where I had my primary surgery, and looked up posts about early removal on communities and such, but in the end, only a few days after posting this, I gave up on early removal right away and changed to a position of watching the progress. Now, compared with the early postoperative period, the swelling and things like that have definitely gone down a lot. In terms of shape, it has become prettier than right after the splint was removed, and I am currently somewhat satisfied. However, now I am considering removal because of psychological factors, and even this thought is not certain. I will keep watching the progress and continue building up my knowledge about plastic surgery, and for now I plan to think only good thoughts~
