Today is day 5 after facial contouring
Up until day 4 after surgery, I searched for so many facial contouring review vlogs, compared my condition with theirs, and got comfort from that as I got through each day. On day 5, I met a friend for the first time, chatted, and went for a drive, and it’s so amazing how the swelling goes down just from using my facial muscles a bit!!
It was pretty much my first time talking after surgery, so my gums hurt so much when I talked or laughed, but once the muscles loosened up a bit, I really felt alive again
They say the swelling is the worst around days 3-4 after surgery and then gradually goes down after that, and it’s so fascinating that that’s actually true
For swelling, I really think walking and moving around is the answer
Also, swelling varies from person to person, of course, but I really don’t think you can ignore the surgeon’s skill The people who filmed vlogs had serious swelling and bruising, but when my friends saw photos from the day of surgery and day 2, they said I was way less swollen than expected, and my parents who live with me don’t even know I had surgery. They just think I’m badly swollen (I told them it was swelling from steroid side effects;). I really got almost no bruising on my face, maybe just a little yellow bruising?
I still have to get the stitches removed, and there’s a long way to go, but I’m still excited because it finally feels like the swelling is starting to go down
Everyone who had facial contouring around the same time as me, you’ve worked so hard It’s truly a pain you can’t understand unless you go through it,
So eat well, take good care of your immunity, and once the stitches inside your mouth dissolve and the wounds inside your mouth heal a bit, you can stop the liquid diet, so let’s hang in there just a little longer⭐️
I’m eating porridge, New Care, soup, and ice cream, but I’m so sick of it I could die^_^.. Everyone with experience, please recommend liquid foods:)
