Before/after I had a successful revision surgery with natural adhesion at Almond Plastic Surgery, so I came to write a review!
5 years ago, I just went along with whatever line a local clinic roughly set for me. Honestly, back then my mom took me there, so there was no researching this or that. Forget searching online or visiting consultations; I just went to the place in my neighborhood that people said was the best.. So of course it completely came undone after 5 years. It was even done with an incision^_...
This time, I was determined not to fail, so I searched online and went to consultations really diligently Gangnam, Apgujeong, Sinsa, and so on.. Going around for consultations in the hot weather was seriously hard.. seriously.. Respect to people who go around to consultations during the rainy season..
I went to about 7 places, and Almond was the kindest and set the line the most carefully. First of all, the director was sweet..... such a sweet director.. almost dalgona-level sweet.. He set the line really meticulously, even having me switch the mirror between my left and right hand, and found a line that would come out well
I was actually thinking of getting ptosis correction too, but he clearly pointed out that my eyes would not benefit much from ptosis correction, and that made me think, this is the place. Everywhere else told me to get ptosis correction, so I thought, oh, I must have eyes that need ptosis correction, but at Almond, he immediately said that even if I did ptosis correction, it would not be effective for my eyes, and especially not if I had previously had an incisional procedure. That made me think, ah, this really is an eye-specialized clinic for a reason
Honestly, I had seen a lot of people say the consultants were not great, and the consultants at other clinics were, honestly.. a bit.. not great, so I figured Almond would be the same, but it wasn’t!? I feel like people saying consultants have bad personalities may just be prejudice, and the consultant who helped me was really kind!
Thanks to that, I scheduled the date feeling very good~~ They were kind and helped me not feel nervous all the way until the day of surgery. Actually, I’m the type who doesn’t go under sleep anesthesia easily, so I lay down and fell asleep a little, but woke up again, and I remember saying out loud, Director, please add a bit more sedative. embarrassing... At that time, the director and the operating room staff all said, You’ll fall asleep again soon~ and I also remember the operating room nurse covering me with the blanket again and then I blacked out.. After I fell asleep, they woke me up several times and told me to open my eyes so they could check the line Even while half-asleep, I thought I absolutely had to make this revision surgery succeed this time, so I opened my eyes with all my strength But I was still pretty dazed
I came to the recovery room and rested a little, then a nurse(?) came and checked whether I was okay. Then the director came back in and even knelt down to my knee level(???) while checking the line again really carefully. Ah.. if I ever need another revision surgery, or if the line droops as I get older, I should come back to Almond.. That thought hit me right then Thank you, director, sweet like dalgona to the very end
Anyway.. because I’m so grateful to Almond this post got long I hope this review helps people who are thinking about double-eyelid surgery! Of course, it depends on the person, but for me it was a huge success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m bowing toward Apgujeong... On Parents’ Day, I’ll go visit Almond holding carnations
