First of all, my main concern was a slightly bulbous nose and a wide nasal bridge, so I went around consulting at places whose osteotomy reviews I liked, and I’m torn between two of them
1. ㅅㄱ/ㄱㅈㅁ They didn’t take a CT scan and only took photos to look at. The director looked at my nose and immediately said what needed to be done, but didn’t explain in detail. The consultant said they would provide follow-up care only if I paid a deposit before leaving. She answered my questions well. A guardian can watch the CCTV in real time. They would use only septal cartilage and extend the nasal tip. There’s no set AS period, and they said they would provide AS anytime if side effects occur. But according to the consultant, she said she has never seen a patient develop inflammation.
2. ㅅㅇㅇ/ㄱㅁㅅ They took a CT scan, looked at it together, lifted my nose with a cotton swab, and told me what needed to be done. The director was kind and answered my questions well. The consultant didn’t mention a deposit and felt kind. You can’t watch the CCTV in real time, but you can view the recording. They would use septal cartilage together with ear cartilage. AS period: 1 year This place is cheaper.
I didn’t write down things that were the same at both hospitals!! There are pros and cons, so I’m really torn.
For ㅅㄱ, I found it a bit strange and concerning that they didn’t take a CT scan and suggested using only septal cartilage, but the director has a long career, and I like the CCTV and AS parts. For ㅅㅇㅇ, I like that the director and consultant were kind and explained things well, and I also like the cost aspect.
Is there anyone here who has had nose surgery at either hospital, or has an acquaintance who has?? I’m curious how it was… And both of them aren’t blacklisted, right..??
