Hello. I'm leaving a review in the hope that it helps even a little. Please understand that I'm not very good at writing. I had my first surgery in 2020. I had lateral osteotomy, 4.5 silicone for the nasal bridge + septal cartilage and ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and rhinitis surgery done at the same time. First of all, my natural nose was so bad that it wasn't a pretty nose, but after surgery I lived satisfied with it. But more than a year passed, and in the summer of 2021, I woke up and my nasal bridge was itchy and red, and as time went by, my nasal bridge suddenly started swelling. It really swelled like Avatar. So I immediately contacted the hospital where I had surgery, got antibiotic medication prescribed, and received antibiotic injections for 5 days. But my nasal bridge was still red and swollen, so I thought I should remove it and went around to about 4 other hospitals for consultations. The reason I didn't have it removed at the hospital where I had the surgery was that trust had already been broken during my first surgery, and the doctor's response after the inflammation was terrible, so I didn't do the removal there. Two hospitals said I should remove it now and first control the inflammation, and if the shape became strange, I would need revision surgery, so I was seriously mentally wrecked.. The other two gave relatively positive answers, so I chose between those two. I had surgery one week after the inflammation occurred, and I think the result was successful. Only the silicone was removed, and the nasal tip still has the septal cartilage as it was. My nasal tip also came down by the amount the silicone was removed. What I was most worried about was contracture coming and making my nose shape look strange. Also, after hearing that they had shaved the nasal bridge for the lateral osteotomy and to place the silicone, I was worried my nasal bridge would become flat after removal. Fortunately, contracture did not occur. After surgery, there was almost no bruising and almost no swelling. They said they put on a splint and inserted something like a thin pipe inside my nose so blood wouldn't collect. After removing the splint and stitches, my nose was very hard, and since the nasal bridge was swollen, it somehow looked high. For 1-2 months, my nose felt tight. I was nervous thinking it might be contracture, but it seemed to be the contraction phase. The swelling in the nasal bridge went down, and it returned to the nasal bridge of my natural nose. So far, my nasal tip has turned red twice, but I still don't know the reason. Currently, at 8 months, there is no contracture or shape change, and no unevenness from nasal bridge shaving. Because there is still septal cartilage in the nasal tip, the nasal tip is firm, but when I touch the nasal ala, it has become much softer. However, when I'm tired or in poor condition, the nasal ala also becomes hard.. I feel so at ease because there is no silicone in my nasal bridge.. I hope that even as time passes, there will be no problems with the nasal tip.. I really think the nose is not something to mess with. I've been burned too many times, so I don't think I can tell you the hospital name. For now, it is not one of the community's big three..
