Eye Re-Surgery@eye-redo

After my 3rd incisional double-eyelid surgery, my eyes finally turned out decent... …

Before<before revision surgery haha>After<before and after>After<1 day after revision surgery, below is 1 week after>After<photo after one month!>After<this is the photo of An Yujin that I showed during my consultation.. haha>No, I had my first surgery at another clinic, but the right line came undone. What I still don't understand is that I had it done with an incisional method?? But even with incision, people whose lines come undone still do^^.. So I got stressed and worked really hard searching online for clinics famous for revision surgery. Of course I looked through all the ratings and reviews on apps and communities, and I even googled what each clinic's image was like!!! Since it was revision surgery, I felt satisfied only after doing everything I possibly could.

So I picked clinics I liked and places famous for revision surgery and went for consultations. About 4-5 places? I think I went around to that many. I had quite a lot of time back then.. haha And among them, there was one where I felt I clicked well with the doctor? It felt comfortable, like our conversation flowed back and forth, so I booked my revision surgery there right away. Since I had searched so thoroughly, I was confident in my list, and I had planned that if I went for a consultation and met a director who felt right for me, I would book it the same day.. lol The reason I liked this clinic was that whenever I went to consultations, I always brought a photo of 'IVE's An Yujin'.. Seriously, An Yujin's eyes were my dream eyes. I kept buying the same Clio makeup products she used.. lol Even if I applied those, my eyes could never become An Yujin's thoughㅠㅠ  Among all the consultations I went to, this was the only director who recommended that for my eyes, a line slightly lower than An Yujin's would suit me better. The other clinics.. everyone was kind, but without much additional explanation, it felt like, 'Let's try going with that~'.. so I don't think they matched me well. Of course, they are probably all skilled directors.. but I thought their aesthetic sense also had to match mine.

Anyway, so I told the doctor again that at the time, I wanted to go higher than the line from my first surgery.. And when we combined the director's suggestion + my opinion and set the line, weirdly enough, a line slightly lower than Yujin's really suited my eyes perfectly.. lol Maybe it's because the vertical height of my eyes is short..?

What was hard after surgery was.. at first, because of the swelling, I thought it had failed and went through emotional stress.. lol I had incision + ptosis correction, so in the beginning the swelling was a bit severe.. This could have been due to my constitution + the effects of revision surgeryㅠㅠ

Honestly, since it is surgery, I should have expected this much, but because it was revision surgery, I was thinking, 'Surely it won't fail again, right?' so at first I was kind of spiraling.. But what was interesting was that after a week, the swelling went down a lot for an incision, so I felt relieved. Looking at the photos, doesn't it look like almost 2-3 weeks had passed???

Aside from that, there wasn't really anything uncomfortable, and since it was revision surgery, things like having to lie down to wash my hair are something I'm already a master at(?) lol And as for pain, for about 3 days there was an aching feeling around my eyes, but it was tolerable, so it wasn't something that bothered me much!

Doesn't it look like the swelling has really almost all gone down? Even at one month it is this much, so I think it will look even more and more natural going forward^^!! haha

And people around me keep saying my eyes have become similar to Yujin's and asking me about it because they're amazed, so I'm feeling good too.. Or sorry if not..

Everyone here who is going to get double-eyelid surgery in the future, don't just blindly follow celebrity photos; from there, find the optimal line that suits your own eyes and get it done haha I hope everyone succeeds with their first surgery without needing revision like I did. Everyone has to think it through enough and choose carefully!!
