For me, after surgery, once exactly about 2 weeks had passed, the swelling went down really quickly. Of course my constitution played a part, but I walked for 2 hours every day and also worked really hard on warm/cold compresses (I think you just need to do exactly what the hospital tells you to do)
I’m really looking forward to how it’ll look once even the subtle remaining swelling goes down too haha
