I had surgery on my cheekbones and square jaw area, and the swelling has really gone down a lot! Up until about one month, I still had some swelling in my cheeks, like candy swelling, but after almost 3 months, it all went down! For swelling, time really is the answer~~ As for opening my mouth, it started opening little by little from 2 weeks, and now, although I still can’t open it super wide like a crocodile mouth, it opens enough that it’s not uncomfortable! My smile doesn’t look awkward anymore either~~ Every time I look at my pre-surgery photos, I only think, I should’ve done it sooner!!~~! I’m really satisfied!
