My Lashes Kept Pricking My Eyes, So I Had Incisional Surgery and Medial and Superior Canthoplasty

My eyelashes were pricking my eyes too much and causing discomfort, so I decided to have surgery. At the consultation, I was told that there were also lashes around the epicanthal fold and that opening the area could improve it, so I decided to have medial and superior canthoplasty together with incisional double-eyelid surgery. I chose a low in-out eyelid line. The surgery was performed under local anesthesia. The staff asked me before I even had to say anything whether I was uncomfortable or in pain, and provided additional anesthesia when needed, so I was able to finish comfortably! When the surgery ended, the anesthesia wore off at the right time. Although I had incisional eye surgery and expected it to be uncomfortable to stay with the sutures for about a week, it was not very uncomfortable haha. However, the knot at the end of the thread kept pricking the inside of my eye. They scheduled the earliest possible appointment after surgery, and I quickly visited to have the knot trimmed! Removing the stitches was less stinging or painful than I expected haha. I love the line, and it made me happy that everyone said they could no longer remember what my eyes looked like before!
