Nose Surgery Reviews

One-month review after RU 3D DCF revision rhinoplasty!

I had rhinoplasty seven years ago, but over time my nose seemed to gradually bend to the left and the tip felt increasingly shorter, so I decided to have revision rhinoplasty. This time, I wanted to use autologous costal cartilage without silicone, and I also wanted to improve the overall nasal shape and left-right symmetry. During my consultation with Dr. Kim Hyun-joo at [Clinic A], I explained what concerned me and the nasal shape I wanted. After the consultation, I decided on revision surgery using autologous costal cartilage and RU 3D DCF, which allows customization. The first few days after rhinoplasty were understandably uncomfortable and difficult, but after about a week, recovery definitely started to feel easier. The swelling decreased considerably around the third week, and I could feel my nose shape settling in. (For reference, during recovery I also took a 40-minute walk every day to take care of myself!!) Most of all, I was glad I didn’t develop severe bruising. Thanks to that, from the second week, people around me could hardly tell I had undergone nose surgery. As time passed, I was satisfied to see the swelling decrease and the shape become more natural. I think the shape will settle further over time, so I’ll continue monitoring the progress. So far, the scar and nasal recovery are going well, I’m not worried about side effects because safe materials were used, and I’m satisfied because it feels like my nose is getting prettier little by little!
