Eye Surgery Reviews

[Clinic C] review

I had a one-on-one consultation with the doctor for about 30 minutes. The doctor showed me photos of various procedure cases and explained things frankly. I thought I would need an incision because this was revision surgery, but the doctor said that I had previously had buried-suture double-eyelid surgery at an ophthalmology clinic and it had loosened, so this was almost like a primary surgery and would be charged at the primary-surgery price. Perhaps because I went in the morning, I was not very satisfied with the proposed line, but I liked the honest and thorough consultation. The doctor explained that because the method would differ from my previous buried-suture procedure, both buried-suture and incision methods could loosen, with a similar nuance. The doctor said incisions do not stay intact only because they are made strongly, which is why the scars can be severe; if the goal is to avoid scars, the results of buried-suture and incision methods would be similar. Rather than spending extra money, enduring a longer recovery, and accepting discomfort, the doctor recommended the buried-suture method! The doctor also said ptosis correction was not necessary! The staff member at the counter was kind, which I appreciated!
