Before <before surgery> After <after surgery (day 10)> Usually time goes by so fast, but since getting nose surgery, time has been going so slowly;;
Today is day 10, and I came back after having all the stitches behind my ear and inside my nose removed and getting a swelling laser treatment~ I had heard removing the stitches inside the nose hurts a lot, so I went in really nervous, but it only stung about twice and was okay. I don't think behind the ear hurt either (I am extremely scared and dramatic about pain, to the point that I can barely look at wound areas and absolutely cannot tolerate pain, so by that standard, other people probably won't find it painful at all haha)
As of day 10, I barely have any bruising, and sometimes I wonder if my ear has no sensation, but thankfully they said the wound is clean. I still have to be very careful with my buttocks, and they told me never to squat, so I'm being as careful as possible when doing housework. Seeing how all the time I spent looking in the mirror, feeling upset, struggling, and crying became okay within 10 days feels both fleeting and joyful haha
Now there is almost no asymmetry like before, my triangular nostrils have returned to round nostrils, and instead of a pinched cartoon-like nose, my nose is plump and cute. I really hope it stays like this ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
The hardest part of nose surgery was on the first day, when the cotton packing inside my nose made my mouth dry and my throat sting so I couldn't sleep. But at the place where I had surgery, they removed the cotton after just one day, so it was okay. With autologous dermis, they harvest it from the buttocks, so sitting is uncomfortable and you end up pacing around, but thanks to that the swelling went down, I lost weight too, and as for not being able to wash, thankfully maybe because of the antibiotics, my skin is glowing
I really don't think I've seen anyone around me who ended nose surgery with just 1 operation ㅠㅠ Personally, I try not to recommend nose surgery as much as possible, but if your first surgery failed or you are suffering because of asymmetry, I recommend the place I went to. Also, everyone has a different nasal structure, shape, and degree of asymmetry, so I recommend only using reviews, the internet, and YouTube as references, and definitely consulting with the doctor carefully about each point ㅠㅠ~
