I went today.. I went along with my younger brother for eye consultation rounds. His eyes are small in both horizontal and vertical length, and they are sunken eyes, so we were not expecting a big change, just a slight improvement and a more defined look. Since it was his first surgery, we went in thinking only about non-incisional buried sutures.

He is very well known for male eyes, so we went for a consultation. The consultant in charge was kind, but there was some pressure to pay a deposit when it came to the price discount. Maybe because it is factory-style.. The wait was about 10 minutes? Director ㅂㅇㅎ told us the parts he thought were needed, and he seemed to pursue a natural-looking result. My younger brother’s eyes are somewhat droopy, and after examining them, he mentioned non-incisional buried sutures, brow lift, and lateral lower canthoplasty. The line would be as natural as possible.. But we had not even been thinking about a brow lift. He said the back part of the eyes droops, so the sagging skin needs to be removed for the eye shape to look a bit more open. But the space between his eyes and eyebrows is already narrow, with the brow bone protruding, so if he gets a brow lift, the distance between the eyes and eyebrows would become even shorter, and it might look heavy. So I did wonder, is that really right..? The price was... maybe because he is famous, but honestly it was too expensive. For first-time eye surgery..? Of course, it was not just double eyelid surgery, but also included a lift and lateral lower canthoplasty, but even with a review discount, I felt it was too expensive, and it made me feel a bit resistant ㅠㅠ And the lateral lower canthoplasty.. From what I see, the orbital bone itself seems small, so I do not think there is space to widen it further. Of course, I am not a doctor.. I have always heard that even if you do a 5 mm lateral canthoplasty, about 2 mm will reattach, but I felt like there would not even be 5 mm of space to open. So I asked whether there was space to open it, and he just smiled and said he would open it as much as possible..? Hmm.. He did examine the eyes, but what he said about the lateral canthoplasty did not feel very precise, so that was a bit disappointing.. Anyway, the consultant also pressured us a bit about the deposit, and kept encouraging us to reserve because the discounted price was only available until August. Even after hearing that 10% of the deposit would not be refunded, we paid the deposit for now. Even if we cancel later, I will just think of it as having paid a consultation fee.. The most ridiculous thing was that parking is not covered if you park in the AB building ㅠ They cover it only if you park in the building next to it, toward the front, but you still have to pay the valet parking fee..

There were a lot of people. Quite a few people were waiting. We arrived earlier than the appointment time, but we were able to go in early and get the consultation. The consultant was kind, and her eyes were so pretty, but she said she did not get them done at ㄹㅎ. I wanted to find out where she had them done.. lol We had the consultation with Director ㄱㅈㅇ, and he was kind and adjusted things to the patient. He recommended incisional ptosis correction and a forehead lift.. But I really had not even thought about going as far as a forehead lift. When I said a lift felt a bit much, he said then just incisional ptosis correction would be fine. And he said lateral lower canthoplasty would be meaningless because there is no orbital bone space, and even if it were done, it would all reattach. His opinion was different from Director ㅂㅇㅎ at ㅇㅇㅂ. Anyway, he said if we had the budget, we could go in the direction of doing a forehead lift, but I was not that drawn to an incision either, so I asked whether non-incisional was not possible, and he said it was possible. But that there was a possibility it could come undone.. So we were guided toward non-incisional natural adhesion ptosis correction, but the director had written forehead lift on the chart. But when the consultant saw the chart, she said that if we did not want a forehead lift, we could not have surgery at their clinic, that it would not be suitable. I was a bit flustered lol So I said the director had said to do that if we had room in the budget, and that he had mentioned natural adhesion buried sutures. Only then did she start talking again. We paid a deposit, but something feels a bit uneasy.. lol The price was about 1/4 of ㅇㅇㅂ, maybe because it was only non-incisional ptosis correction.. lol;; There was no consultation fee, and the valet fee was 3,000 won. We only paid the deposit, and aftercare is 1 year. They said if we cancel at least 1 week before, they will refund the full deposit.
The two places had slightly different opinions, so I am debating, but I plan to visit other places first and then decide. There are bad reviews anywhere, but after looking at the premium reviews in this community ㅠㅠ Hmm, I am thinking about it a lot lol There were quite a few bad reviews.
We are going to two more places next week, so I plan to go there too. Next week, we decided to visit ㅇㅇㅋ and ㄴㅅㅎ.. Sigh, doing consultation rounds is tiring too lolol
