More than anything, I was very worried about the surgical effect, but he confidently reassured me and treated me without overdoing anything. I didn’t need to worry about scarring because the incision is originally made inside the eyelid or underneath, I think. I couldn’t take a long vacation, so I rested for about 15 days. But I felt that was enough because the major swelling peaked around day 4, but after a week it went down a lot, and I don’t think the bruising was severe either. I diligently used cold compresses, and I did get a lot of eye discharge and tearing, but that was something I had been told about too, and now it’s completely fine. During the first week, the swelling went down a little asymmetrically, but that also got better. With a mask on, the bruising didn’t really bother me. The various situations after surgery were things I had been told about, and I think time solved most of them. It’s been about two months now, and the swelling has gone down symmetrically and well, and I think it’ll maintain around this level without going down much more! I looked for the surgeon based only on the director’s experience rather than cost-effectiveness, so I didn’t think it was very cheap, but now it has turned out properly in the shape I wanted, so I’m satisfied now.
