My comedonal acne was extremely severe and evolved into adult acne. My entire face was covered in tiny closed comedones, and especially chin acne and temple acne were really bad. My skin is thin, so I couldn't do irritating peels. (I strongly do not recommend Aladdin peel.) Herbal peels or anything with spicules that you rub in were too painful, so I don't recommend them... To be honest, PDT and IPL didn't work that well either. I had so many tiny closed comedones packed all over that even the people doing extractions at aesthetic clinics or dermatology clinics would sigh.
1. Infini When getting this, it was really good to ask whether they also do extractions and aqua peeling, and do them together. (You have to pay extra.) Aqua peeling was gentle, so it wasn't particularly irritating, and I liked the feeling that it was sucking out all the excess sebum on my face. After doing all the extractions, with Infini it goes beeeep~ bang! beeeep~ bang! beeeep~~ bang! The feeling of it pressing down into your face is extremely painful. If you tolerate it well, the directors say you endure it well and do a lot of bang-bang shots... Sometimes it even hurts down to the facial bones.
Honestly, it is not an exaggeration to say Infini saved my whole face; after this, my skin became unbelievably good. They said it has a collagen regeneration effect, and my skin had no sagging to the point that I didn't need lifting. It was really good... (still my favorite) Honestly, once or twice is useless, and for 3 years I went once every 1 to 2 months. (The downtime was long, and it was also because my skin is weak.)
Even now, when I see friends who still have acne, I sometimes say, Want to go get Infini?... I even had a friend I almost cut ties with after doing this together. (It hurts.)
2. Agnes (Acnis)
The clinic I went to called it Agnes, but the same procedure may have other names too. As I understand it, it is a procedure where insulated laser needles are inserted into overactive sebaceous glands. At the time, I thought it was the worst pain of my life, but honestly I think Infini hurts more. They said it has the effect of cauterizing clusters of excessively formed acne (sebaceous glands that became overdeveloped due to acne) so they don't come back. In reality, a lot of the excessive sebaceous glands disappeared after that. (But it is no secret that new ones can still appear again.)
