There were quite a lot of patients, but I got in quickly. - Manager -> chief doctor (ㄱㅂㅅ) -> manager consultation - Manager consultation: they suggested two options, injections (Face N injections, contour injections) and fat removal. I prefer something with a definite effect, so I said I’d go with fat removal. They said the deep cheek area was a bit uneven too and that fat there could also be removed, but I don’t like the look of faces after deep-cheek fat removal, so I said no. They explained the procedure and answered all my questions kindly and without making me feel pressured, so that part was good. - Doctor consultation (ㄱㅂㅅ): he had a kind vibe, like in the YouTube videos. He asked first which part of my face was bothering me. He touched my face and said I don’t have much fat, so instead of fat removal, N injections could still be effective.. For the nasolabial fold area and the front cheek? the same, with injections. He said to fill the nasolabial folds a little with hyaluronic acid filler, and that the reason the area looks bumpy is not the cheekbones themselves but the temples and side cheeks being hollow, so we should fill the sunken areas with filler. After N injections on the cheekbones and cheeks, he suggested lifting them upward with a lifting treatment (radiofrequency? anyway, not thread lifting), and after feeling my jaw muscles, he also recommended jaw Botox. He said the slightly sunken under-eye area could also be improved with filler. When I brought up the asymmetry, he asked how exactly I think it’s asymmetrical. But when I look with the naked eye, I don’t notice it, yet in photos the positions of my eyes on both sides differ so much that it looks grotesquely asymmetrical... For the front cheek, it’s more muscle than fat, and the fat is only about 1–2 mm? They said even if you shave down the 45-degree cheekbones, it would only be about 1–2 mm too, so the area I’m worried about probably wouldn’t improve much even if I shaved the bone. But no one had only cheekbones treated like me; they all had jaw fat removal too, so I’m not sure how cheekbone-only fat removal would turn out.
I like that ㅇㅂㅇ can do Botox, radiofrequency lifting, and fillers all at once to refine the facial line, but honestly I’m skeptical whether those N injections? fat-dissolving injections? would actually work.. With ㄷㅌㅈㄹㅂ, even though they said the effect wouldn’t be much, the before-and-after photos do show a difference... It’s giving me hope, so I’m torn....
