It is day 10 after lateral and lower canthoplasty, and I got the stitches removed, yeah
For reference, I was told I had a lot of space to open at the outer corners, and that my eyes would respond well to canthoplasty, yeah
Looking only at the results now on day 10, I am fairly satisfied. From the side, my eyes really got longer, and the visible area widened a lot
But the mucous membrane at the outer end still looks red It does not show in photos, but anyone who has had lateral canthoplasty or is interested in it would be able to tell right away. It opened well in a V shape, but the red mucous membrane shows at the back... If you can accept that, I recommend it
The dry eye is completely gone, unlike at the beginning, and I do not suddenly tear up or anything like that
For now, smiling with my eyes does not work well + one eye is way bigger + there is slight mucosal exposure at the outer corner
What is certain is that it is not completely natural? If you look really close, you can tell. The hospital put tape on the scar at the end of the eye, so I do not know yet, but I think a scar probably remains
I thought the place I went to pursued a natural look, but hmm, looking only at the canthoplasty, it is a place that opens as far as it can be opened, so if you dislike a D-shaped lateral canthoplasty and want your eyes to definitely become longer and more glamorous, I recommend it
