I really had no interest in plastic surgery, then suddenly made up my mind, so I honestly knew almost nothing. Even though I tried to look up as much as I could before going to consultations, I still don’t really know.. I only looked at doctors’ review photos, consultation-round reviews, and so on, and thought I should just go for now.. I made reservations at about 10 places over 2 weeks, but only managed to go to 7 of them. Actually, I still have one left, but I’m exhausted..
First, my condition is thick skin, completely monolid eyes, and severe epicanthal folds The line I want is a natural in-out line, and I was only thinking about incision + upper epicanthoplasty or so
All 7 places had no consultation fee

Consultant - director - consultant The director was cheerful, the consultant was kind, A/S for 1 year, No post-care fees - anytime Sleep anesthesia + local anesthesia, they wake you up midway to check If you do incision, major swelling lasts about 2 weeks?
Overall the atmosphere was fine and the line they made was fine too, but since it was my first clinic, I was thinking I would go to more places, and now I don’t really remember it well. It wasn’t so appealing that I was extremely drawn to it. Also, I didn’t have knowledge about ptosis correction, so after I went, I looked it up and ended up not really wanting to do ptosis correction

It felt like they roughly made the line for me My eyes are close together, so no epicanthoplasty! They said they would naturally do it on their own? They kept saying things like this They said they would make it natural on their own! And as soon as I arrived, they talked about my face, my overall image? told me things like that, and said there’s no one in the world who must get surgery~ then showed photos of monolid celebrities and said things like, why hasn’t this person done it at this age~̆̈
Total surgery time 3 hours, anesthesia method - sleep, local? I don’t remember Stitches removed on day 5, visits at 1 month and 6 months A/S (period, whether there is a fee, cases eligible for A/S): 1 year
From the second place onward, opinions differed, so I was mentally overwhelmed And this place was too expensive, so eliminated..
3. ㅊㅇ (Gangnam) (Upper/anterior epicanthoplasty, incision, ptosis correction) Consultation: consultant - director - consultant During the first consultation, they took photos with a tablet The waiting time was too long.... I came at 1:30, but because of surgery, I waited 2 hours. I was so exhausted

Consultation: consultant - director - consultant They took photos with a camera The consultant was kind, the director seemed a bit busy but told me exactly only what was needed They said the natural feel was just right If I did something dramatic, the distance between my eyes and eyebrows would become too narrow They said it was good that I wanted something natural

Somehow I ended up booking and canceled right away that evening Swelling injections three times A/S 3 years
7. ㅍㄹㅇㅂ (Incision, upper epicanthoplasty) Ptosis correction optional (but they said they hoped I wouldn’t do it)
There was some waiting time because surgery was delayed, but I liked that the director clearly said, do what needs to be done and if not, don’t. They measured my glabellar distance and said things like I shouldn’t do too much epicanthoplasty
Surgery time 1 hour to 1.5 hours, anesthesia method - sleep 1-2 minutes, local Post-care - swelling laser once, if needed 2-3 more times possible A/S until 1 year for line loosening or surgical asymmetry
For now I roughly wrote only the parts I remember. What do you think,,, Overall, I don’t think there were places that pressured me to book. There were a few places that said they’d give a discount if I booked the same day, but it wasn’t intense pressure to do it
For my eyes, incision and upper/anterior epicanthoplasty seem essential, and I wasn’t thinking about ptosis correction at all, but about half of them told me to do it, so I feel like I don’t really want to do it unnecessarily.. I’ll probably decide between two places and book This much consultation-rounding is enough, right??? What does everyone think??
