Day 10 after my first implant-free rhinoplasty

I live in Daegu, and going all the way to Seoul seemed way too tight for my schedule, so I visited clinics in Daegu and Busan. I went to a total of 5 hospitals, and the overall direction for my nose surgery was pretty similar from doctor to doctor, but the doctor here seemed the most confident. More than anything, maybe because he does a lot of revision surgery, there were piles of removed nasal silicone implants in his office ㄷㄷㄷ Also, he showed me tons of before-and-after photos of people he had operated on, plus lots of photos of people with nose shapes similar to mine, so I had already made up my mind there. What especially resonated with me was when the doctor said that after nose surgery, when you meet friends at first, it should be like, “Oh? You got your nose done? It’s pretty~,” and it is right that people around you notice your nose changed. But if, after time passes and you meet those friends several times again, they still keep talking about your nose and nose surgery, that is the kind of reaction you get when it looks unnatural and was done very noticeably and excessively. He said since I’m in my 30s and married, I would probably get really stressed if only my nose looked too overdone.. But there still has to be a clear difference from before! I related to that so much, and that was the point that made me trust the doctor and decide on surgery.. I didn’t do the nasal bridge, and had implant-free surgery using only ear cartilage and septal cartilage, just for a bulbous nose and nasal tip surgery. The doctor said that right now, because of swelling, my nose may look too big and upturned, but overall I really like the line. It would be perfect if just the nasal tip came down slightly so my nostrils showed a little less.
