Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

One-Month Record of Cheekbone Surgery, Chin Tip Surgery, and Double Jaw Surgery

Before <long face, wide lower face, a dull image, side cheekbones were stressful> After <1 week, cheeks plump> After <2 weeks, when swelling was going down well> After <3 weeks, when swelling had plateaued> After <1 month, swelling seems to have gone down compared with week 3>Hi ~ I’m here to leave a one-month record since my double jaw surgery and contouring surgery!

My long face, wide lower face, and cheekbones were a complex for me, so I went to several clinics for consultations, and even when deciding on the final hospital, I worried a lot. I even went to the hospital I eventually chose for a second consultation!

It was to make sure I felt confident once more, and also for myself. I’m a textbook ESTJ, haha.

I wasn’t particularly tense before surgery, but just before entering the operating room, while I was talking with the anesthesiologist and starting to hear various things about breathing methods and post-op anesthesia, my heart started pounding and I kept thinking maybe I shouldn’t do it after all, all sorts of thoughts came up, haha.

Rather than pain after surgery, what was hardest for me after the operation was nausea, vomiting, and waking up from anesthesia!

I wasn’t supposed to sleep, but that wasn’t something I could easily control the way I wanted.

I stayed hospitalized for 3 days and 2 nights without a guardian, but honestly, I think I got through it comfortably without much inconvenience.

After coming home, I tried hard to eat well and rest well. Especially after seeing other people say that because they couldn’t eat after surgery, their immunity dropped and they had all kinds of pain and discomfort, I diligently ate steamed egg, soy milk, New Care, and other things through a straw even if they didn’t taste good.

Eating still isn’t exactly comfortable yet, but except for chewy foods, I’m eating soft foods cut into small pieces.

I grind meat and eat it, and I also make juice out of fruit and drink that.

It was so stressful that the swelling wasn’t going down quickly. Since the weather is hot, I couldn’t really go out for proper walks, and because I stayed mostly at home worried that if I sweated I might get inflammation, I feel like the swelling has gone down slowly.

I really hope that after today’s typhoon passes, the weather will get cooler!
