My lips have always been a huge, huge complex for me. Even though I’m a homebody who absolutely never goes outside, I finally made up my mind, searched all over the internet, found the clinic whose lip shape I liked the most, took a bus to Daegu, went to the clinic, and got it done.
They were also running an event, so I got all 4 types: upper lip, lower lip, lip corner filler, and Botox.
I was worried that if I overdid it, my lips would turn into sausages, so I asked them to put in a moderately small amount, but also moderately more considering some filler would go downㅋㅋ They let me check once midway, then added a little more and finished.
I’m usually pretty good at tolerating painful injections, but when they did the lip corners, tears naturally came out a little ㅜㅜ After everything was done, my lip shape was seriously like a huge~ sausage, so I was really worried (since it was my first time), but thankfully after 7 days it settled nicely, and now people don’t really notice unless I say something.
The doctor said my lip corners were very droopy, so I should come in for a retouch, but I couldn’t go because it was a hassle. As expected, the lip corners went back to their original state, but my lips still look pretty nice, so if it bothers me later, I plan to go get it done again!!
Conclusion: If your lips are very thin and a complex for you, I recommend trying it at least once without overdoing it!! I’m satisfied enough that I’d 100% be willing to do it again! It makes applying lip products fun ㅠㅠ
