I had revision double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty + ptosis correction 6 years ago, and maybe because I had it done when I was young, the epicanthoplasty area had almost closed back up, so the line looked messy. So even though I have sunken eyes, I decided to have surgery to improve the balance of my eyes + soften my fierce-looking impression.
