Before before after after after Seriously, I had a hooked nose like a witch’s nose from a cartoon, and it stressed me out so, so much. Just having the bridge of my nose bend once made my overall impression and image look really bad, and I also hated that it made me look a bit masculine, so naturally my confidence in my appearance dropped too. Eventually I started looking into rhinoplasty. Since I already had some nasal bridge height, I wanted surgery without an implant, and because the hump was quite severe, I had to get osteotomy as well. On top of that, there were functional issues too, so to improve all these complex problems, I decided on the clinic. In the early stage, after removing the splint, removing the silastic sheet, getting dressings, and receiving thorough follow-up care, the major swelling went down quickly. The minor swelling also went down as I diligently walked and managed it. Since it was done without an implant, I also liked that I didn’t have to worry much about side effects. I wondered what I would do if the shape was disappointing because silicone wasn’t used, but I think the shape came out pretty enough even without an implant, and I feel like I got the high, straight-to-slightly-curved line I wanted, without any step-off.
