Eye Re-Surgery

About two months after revision eye surgery

Before/after About 6-7 years ago, I had double eyelid surgery + incision at another clinic. As time passed, my eye symmetry didn’t match, and especially my right eye lost opening strength and was slightly covered, making it look hollow, so I was really stressed.. I decided on revision eye surgery and went to more than 10 consultations in Seomyeon, but there wasn’t any clinic that felt like the one, so I was half giving up. On the last day, I went to Jena, and the director’s consultation was good and they said the AS period was 2 years, so I decided on Jena. During the consultation, I wondered if it would be good to do a canthoplasty separately as well, so I asked the director. He said I do have epicanthal folds, but if I did medial epicanthoplasty, my eyes could look too close together, and that it didn’t seem necessary to do medial epicanthoplasty or lateral canthoplasty, so he didn’t recommend it, and I didn’t proceed with any canthoplasty separately. Before, the end of the line dropped too much, making it feel stuffy, so this time I said I hoped it wouldn’t feel like it dropped too much, and the director thought the same. During surgery, he checked the line well while having me close and open my eyes. Personally, once the anesthesia wore off, the pain was really bad for 1-2 hours, but after taking medicine it got better. When I had my first double eyelid surgery, I remembered that removing the stitches hurt a lot, so I was scared the whole time while they were removing the stitches, but suddenly they said they were all out, so I was like, huh? Thank you, nurse.. My previous line was too high, so while doing the revision surgery, I lowered the line a bit too. I was worried it might become too much like an inner double eyelid, but so far I like the current line, the swelling is going down better than I expected, and I think the symmetry turned out well too.
