I went to get Botox for the first time in my life. It was a factory-style + low-cost clinic, so I was a little worried, but those procedures all don’t really have notable side effects, and after time passes, the effects fade again, so I thought I’d just go anywhere and try it.
At first, I was thinking of getting Skin Botox only on the butterfly zone, but since I was doing it anyway, I decided to try it on my whole face. For Botox, I decided to get it only on my forehead and glabella. But I had watched a lot on YouTube before going, so I was planning to ask them not to inject right above the brow bone.
After a really looooong wait, they applied anesthetic cream, and from what I heard other people saying.. There were people who waited 1 hour with anesthetic cream on, and there was even a case where they completely forgot about a patient waiting for a procedure lol.. So just when I was thinking I can’t get forgotten like that, they guided me into the room.
I lay down and was about to get Skin Botox first, and wow, even though I tolerate pain well, I got the injections while tears were streaming down my face. I was tearing up so much that I couldn’t open my eyes.
No joke, I wanted to throw the syringe and say, please send me home. It came all the way up to my throat, but I grabbed the edge of my clothes tightly, clenched my teeth, and seriously tried hard to endure it. It felt like my skin was being filleted.. like my skin had just become a sheet of flesh.. that kind of feeling.
Then at the end, they gave me the Botox, and I had forgotten to tell them my requests. But without me saying anything, they injected exactly in the necessary areas.
The doctor was very kind, and the nurse was a bit tsundere. So somehow I endured it well and went home.
A few days later, the Botox effect showed up.. I’m very satisfied. They placed the Botox unbelievably well. But Skin Botox definitely seems like something you need to get several times. I’m not sure if it worked well for me.. It became a sad procedure where I wasted money, time, and pain.
