Before and after, I had so much!! fat on my upper eyelids, and even when I tried to open my eyes wide, that was the limit I really had so many regrets about my eyes. I decided I would get double eyelid surgery as soon as I graduated high school, and back then I went around to so many consultations, but everyone only said it probably wouldn’t improve much. Other people get double eyelid surgery just fine, so why were they saying it wouldn’t work for me? Back then I really resented the world.
Then I ended up going for a consultation at ES Cheongdam, and unlike the previous consultations, they were the first to say we should try it. First, because I had too much fat around my eyes, they said an incisional method seemed more suitable than buried suture/natural adhesion, and they also recommended fat removal above the eyes and upper epicanthoplasty. Everyone says semi-out is the trend, but after trying many different line shapes, I concluded that an in-out line would be better, and fortunately the surgery also went well. Everyone scared me so much, saying incisions leave scars and swelling doesn’t go down easily, but it wasn’t scary to that extent.. And incisional double eyelids can look natural enough too..... I also felt once again that you shouldn’t give up and that going around for consultations is the answer. Everyone, be brave!!
