Since my early 20s, I had an appearance-related complex because of my protruding lower jaw and crooked teeth, and because of that I had a personality where I avoided smiling in front of others or taking photos.
Because of that, people around me often told me I looked cold and stiff. At the time, I looked into double-jaw surgery, but I was scared and the cost was also a big burden, so I gave up. So this time I made up my mind to get double-jaw surgery and set a few criteria.
First, there had to be an orthodontic department together with it so communication with orthodontics could go well, and there also had to be something that let me somewhat infer(?) the director's personality haha through YouTube and so on! Iyugugang was a place where all the criteria I had in mind fit together, and during the consultation I thought I could trust them enough to proceed, so I went ahead right away!
Right after surgery, when I had come to my senses somewhat, there was a little pain, but breathing was easier than I expected, so I was able to endure it more easily than I thought. I could feel my stamina coming back reasonably well, and the way home after discharge wasn't hard either! The facial swelling felt worse than the day before, but I got pretty used to how to eat a liquid diet and drink water, so I gained confidence in my recovery lol
After resting a bit at home, my stamina came back a little more, so I went for a light walk. I'm currently in week 2, and over 1 week the swelling has noticeably gone down. The shape is visible to some extent, so my expectations got a bit bigger for when all the swelling is gone lol I tried mouth-opening exercises, but for now I can only open about one finger's width. Suture removal hurt more than I expected, but the areas where the stitches and orthodontic appliance were catching disappeared, so it became much more comfortable. It's only been 2 weeks, but I'm doing pretty well in my own way lol
