I had sunken eyes and lived with sausage-like double eyelids for several years, then decided to get revision surgery and had the line lowered + the fixation redone more weakly. The director said the fixation was so weak that it could completely come undone, but so far it hasn't come undone and it's fine. However, scar tissue formed at the inner corner of my eye, so the front part of one double eyelid disappeared. That was partly because I didn't do the aftercare properly, and partly because of my skin type.
Anyway, before, when I met people, they would ask if I had eye surgery and things like that, but these days there is none of that at all, so I'm satisfied.
