Before and afterThe doctor said that since my midface is long and the distance between my eyes is on the narrow side, if I wanted, they could mix in silicone and raise it sharply, but if they did that, my midface could look even longer and my eyes could look even closer together.
So we proceeded in a direction where the hump was shaved down but left slightly, and the area below the hump was built up with costal cartilage.
Honestly, before that, when I was looking up information on my own, I had seen a few comments saying you have to make the first surgery dramatic to be satisfied, so I was worried. But right now I’m very satisfied lol.
It’s only about week 3, so the swelling in my nasal tip and alar area hasn’t gone down yet, but I’m planning to take my time and watch it for a while.
