Closed approach, no implant + septal cartilage was used to raise the nasal tip I didn’t become extremely pretty, and because a lot of septal cartilage was put into the nasal tip, my nose became bigger. Even 3 months after surgery and even now. They told me about this before surgery too, so I have no complaint haha They said because my nasal bridge is naturally very high, they had to put in a large amount of septal cartilage or something.. Instead, I had consoled myself with the fact that the hump I had been bothered by disappeared naturally, but when I touch it, it’s bumpy and the hump has also recurred lolololol I had been informed in advance about the possibility of recurrence
During the pre-surgery consultation, the director seemed confident and seemed to prioritize safety above all, so I chose this hospital, but the consultation focused only on hump removal and functional aspects, so the cosmetic part bothered me On the day of surgery, before going into the operating room, I asked, “Is the nose shape I’ll be getting a straight-with-slight-slope line?” and they said that kind of thing wasn’t important and that they were going to remove the hump.. then got annoyed, so I was taken aback, but what could I do lol I had already paid and was about to have surgery.. The hospital held the knife, so I quietly went in and had the surgery
Even during surgery, I felt like it seemed to be a day when they were in bad condition. I felt they were unusually irritable They told me to breathe slowly, but maybe because I was nervous, my breathing kept getting faster. Since I couldn’t control that easily, their irritation got worse. I also know that the important thing is for the surgery to go well rather than the patient being nervous! I have no complaint!! The nursing assistant? The teacher assisting on the side seemed to be new, and it looked like they were training them? They told them to try it, and my nose was handed over to them here and there during the surgery. Since it was done under supervision, it may not be illegal, but it was very unpleasant.. I went into surgery thinking the doctor would do it from beginning to end, you know lol
★★Please make sure you are aware before surgery that a nursing assistant may participate in some parts of the operation. I found out during surgery (it was local anesthesia), so I was extremely uncomfortable. It was not just at the level of assisting, like handing over a scalpel and that kind of thing. The director tells them to try it, and the nursing assistant directly takes over surgical instruments and touches the operated patient’s nose.
The day after surgery, I bled all night, so I thought I was going to die like this, but I got through that dawn and urgently contacted them in the morning. - “At dawn on day 2, I bled so much for 4 hours that I had to change the gauze every 5 or 10 minutes” This is my record from then - Even though it was the weekend, because it seemed like an emergency, the director came out to the hospital for me. I think this is definitely something that differentiates them from other hospitals. The fact that there is a number to contact in an emergency even on weekends If it had been another hospital, I probably would have just gone to the ER, endured the weekend, and had to see them on a weekday, right?
Even though there were clearly parts that made me feel bad like this, I thought it was a hospital that operated on my nose safely, so I lived thinking it was better to focus on the good! My mindset was that it was okay even if I didn’t become very pretty, and I just wanted the hump gone, so it suited my needs well haha But the fact that even after a long time has passed, I still can’t forget that they said “try it” to the nursing assistant and entrusted my nose to them means I was that uncomfortable, right..? I clearly remember this wording. And along with that wording, the fact that the assistant took over and used the surgical instruments several times.. What do you mean, try it. I’m not a test subject. It was local anesthesia. I heard everything and felt everything. I’m not satisfied, but I’m also not extremely dissatisfied. Still, I wrote this hoping other people will be aware that this can happen before they have surgery.
The rhinitis recurred, but I can breathe more comfortably than before surgery Cosmetically, people around me say it’s not great, and I lived thinking it was okay in its own way, but now the hump has recurred, so I’m considering whether I should have revision surgery.
