I'm going to have to post a review with these photos somewhere else soon anyway, but this place feels like it has only the real ones, so I'll just share my story once. I hope it helps people with bulbous noses.
First, when consulting to improve a bulbous nose, a lot of people ask for the nasal tip to be made as sliiiiim as possible, right? I was like that too. The conclusion is, it absolutely won't come out as slim and sharp as I want. I went around to about 6 famous places for consultations, and almost all of them clearly told me it wouldn't work whenever I showed them photos of the nose shape I wanted. I think the place that said it could be done was not very skilled. Because there, they said I needed alar reduction even though anyone could tell my nose was not the type that should get alar reduction lol (Wow, thinking about it now, that was my first consultation, and I knew nothing but even paid a deposit and left. Thinking about it now makes me dizzy, seriously dizzy)
So what I want to say isn't, people with bulbous noses, don't get your hopes up for nothing! What I wanted to say is that the current trend is definitely not a super-slim nasal tip. Don't insist on that for no reason.
When viewed from the front, that 'round, rounded' look we hated so much is actually the trend. Natural from the front, but high when seen from the side! That's the only way it can look glamorous yet natural lol After living with a bulbous nose for over 20-something years, I wanted to escape it somehow, so without realizing it I became obsessed with having a slim nasal tip, but after coming to my senses and looking at other slim nasal-tip noses, they didn't look that pretty to me. Still, if you insist on it, then it can't be helped!
At first after taking off the splint, I was satisfied with my side profile, but from the front it really felt like there was no improvement. But when I definitely compare it to my past photos, the excessively thick? rounded part was controlled. I wasn't brainwashed by the director trying to rationalize it lol People around me actually praised it. They said in one way it looks natural, and in another way it looks glamorous haha I think that's because of the frontal effect.
It's been one month since my surgery, and it's gradually getting better. So far, from people around me who have seen that I had surgery, I've only heard that it turned out really well. I'm a total planner and a scaredy-cat, so for almost two months before and after surgery I read every review there was... During recovery I felt pretty worn down because of the unfamiliar feeling in my nose, but after going to my progress consultation, I finally feel a bit relieved, so I'm writing this haha.. I got a lot of help from this community! But now I'm going to delete it before I develop mental issues I didn't have before haha
