I went to BongBong and Glam, and I’ll say in advance that I’m mainly writing based on what I wrote down on my phone (I opened a chat with myself and wrote diligently lolololol). Also, my memory isn’t that good, so please keep in mind that there’s a lot of information I forgot!
I went in the morning. Glam was at 10, and BongBong was at 12! I’ll talk about the Glam consultation first
Glam - I had a consultation with Director Oh Jae-won. Since it’s a private clinic specializing only in breasts (breast surgery), it wasn’t enormously huge or anything. You go in, fill out the chart, get guided to the changing room, change clothes, and come out. There wasn’t much waiting! Maybe because I was the first appointment,, Then the consultant took photos, and while looking at the photos together, during the preliminary consultation she went over the recommended implant, surgical method, incision site, and things like that! I thought we would just briefly talk about what my concerns were and why I wanted surgery, then be done, but she explained things in a lot of detail, so my ears perked up. At this point, I was worried she might feel offended if I opened KakaoTalk while talking, so I politely asked if I could take notes lol, then turned on my phone and took notes Then I went in for the director’s consultation, and the director.. really doesn’t say much. He took actual measurements, checked tissue quality, recommended three options for incision, surgical method, and implant, explained the reasons, and that was it. For me, he recommended Motiva, dual plane, 335 cc, inframammary fold incision. He said I have breast asymmetry and a short inframammary fold, so an inframammary incision would be more advantageous for shaping than an armpit incision After that, for post-op care and AS-type follow-up, you hear about those during the follow-up consultation with the consultant. One thing I found interesting among what I heard was that the consultant had been there ever since Glam opened.. And she said she also had surgery at Glam! She said she could show me if I was curious about the shape lolololol. She even showed me her breasts in person, and honestly it was amazing; they looked so much like real breasts that I was shocked, like, these are surgically augmented breasts??? Post-op care is a 1-year program, but it’s not fixed; she said it can vary depending on the patient’s situation, sometimes going differently or longer. She said whether to wear a compression bra also changes depending on follow-up progress They said full-time CCTV viewing is available AS once for life (free) No consultation fee
BongBong - I wanted to see the representative director, but they said that wasn’t possible, so I had a consultation with Director Kang Min-gu. The clinic interior was so clean that I wondered if they had recently remodeled it. I went straight into consultation without waiting, filled out the chart, changed clothes, had photos taken, and had the consultant consultation first. Here too, the consultant explained everything in detail, from the recommended incision site to the surgical method. But it felt a bit more like she was following a manual than openly sharing deep breast-related knowledge Then I went in for the director’s consultation, and it was a bit.. should I say bland? It was a dry consultation.. I even thought maybe the director wanted the consultation to end quickly, or maybe he found it bothersome?? I felt a little self-conscious.. He showed and explained the mammary gland tissue once with ultrasound and also did a breast simulation, so he did a lot, but the explanations felt a bit formal, so it didn’t really resonate much He recommended subfascial placement (he said there are people who do dual plane and then also have surgery to re-suture the pectoralis major muscle, so he recommended subfascial as better), and also recommended liposuction of another area (arms) together. I was recommended Motiva 340 cc with an inframammary fold incision (size to be decided again on the day) And for post-op care, they said they provide about 2 or 3 sessions of bruise/swelling care + capsular contracture prevention care and scar care together (scar care starts from month 3). For the compression bra, you choose between one with an open front and a Bob bra with hooks fastened in the front, then wear it. (Free if you book) Full-time CCTV viewing available AS 1 year (for capsular contracture, free surgery within 1 year; after 1 year, a fee applies) Consultation fee 30,000 won
Now that I’ve written it out, it’s really packed. Please understand even if the readability is bad, sorry I think each clinic took about 1 hour, and since I went around in the morning, there weren’t a lot of people waiting or anything! There might be a wait if you go in the afternoon.. If anyone is curious about anything other than what I wrote, leave a comment. There are probably things I couldn’t write because I don’t remember, but seeing comments might jog my memory lolololol. Cost info is ok too!!! You can ask anything
