It feels awkward to write in informal speech before and after, lol, but since I have to write informally, I’ll give it a try.
It’s now been over a month since surgery, and I’m so satisfied haha, so even though it’s a hassle, I’m leaving a review! (If a family member or acquaintance were to do it, I’d definitely recommend this place.)
I had a hooked nose, a crooked nose (to the right), and a drooping arrow-like nasal tip, basically a hopeless nose lol;;
While looking through this community, I narrowed it down to 4 places that seemed decent, and after consultations, I ultimately chose this clinic.
Reasons I chose it
1. One-doctor clinic (you know without me saying, right? Honestly, this alone pretty much sealed it.)
2. The price was reasonable -> On top of that, if you do functional + cosmetic nose surgery, you can even claim part of it through indemnity insurance. It honestly felt unbelievable. (I previously had rhinitis surgery once in the military, and because of complications, I had perforation surgery once at a university hospital for my nose. No cosmetic surgery x, no open approach x. But another plastic surgery clinic, for example one in Seomyeon, quoted 6.6 million won lololol. As far as I know, a closed approach doesn’t count as revision surgery;; ridiculous... If I had done it there, it could have been a disaster.)
3. I think the director’s aesthetic sense is really good. (As someone getting plastic surgery for the first time, it was so hard to set the standard for what I wanted, but the director first asked whether I wanted it natural or more dramatic and consulted accordingly. I wanted a natural look, and I also had thoughts of getting a bit greedy while I was at it, but the director controlled that well.)
4. Everyone at the hospital was kind. (During the consultation, the director kindly explained each principle with drawings, and the consultant’s consultation was also neat and kind. The people guiding me were kind too, and additionally, when I received postoperative aftercare, the nurses working beside the director were all so kind.)
5. They provide free A/S for 3 years. (I don’t remember the exact period, but probably 3 years? I remember thinking it was really good when I heard it. I think they offer this because they’re confident.)
Maybe it’s because I’m easygoing, but there wasn’t a single thing I was dissatisfied with. Personally, it was just far from my home, so I spent a ton on round-trip taxi fares... Seriously, other than that, nothing.
I had surgery without an implant (I said I absolutely would not put in silicone), hump reduction + osteotomy + crooked nose correction + nasal tip (ear cartilage).
I think the major swelling has all gone down, but because I had osteotomy, there is still swelling on the sides of the nasal bridge, and I know that takes quite a long time to go down, so once even that part subsides, I think I’ll be even more satisfied.
What I felt after coming into this community really often is that
there are many reviews about complications, and many people are pessimistic about nose surgery, but I’ll genuinely recommend it.
I think you could at least get a consultation once and then decide lol.
Conclusion: if you’re in Busan, I really recommend this place. This isn’t an ad, I’m not an acquaintance of the hospital, and this is a real review paid for with my own money.
