Honestly, I’m the kind of person who really hates uploading parts of my body online, but I also benefited from other people’s honest reviews and sharing, so I’m going to record my review of my double eyelid surgery, now that it has been 6 years.
One-line summary: Double eyelids that absolutely, absolutely have not loosened and look natural, but I don’t like the line.
Honestly, I think the things people are most curious about in double eyelid surgery reviews are:
clinic information, how the results turned out, how long it took for the swelling to go down, and whether it looks natural or unnatural.
So I’ll write about those 4 things above.
1. What ㅇㅎㅂ Plastic Surgery was like
First, from what I remember 6 years ago, there were seriously a lot of people. I remember waiting almost 1 hour for the consultation. One person would go in, then another would come out after finishing, and this kept repeating, that’s how many people there were. But compared with that, there weren’t many reviews for ㅇㅎㅂ, so it felt ironic.
Feature 1. Unfriendly consultation They had a lot of clients. That was it. They were busy. That was it. They were really unfriendly. I kind of felt a “if you don’t like it, then leave” vibe. Honestly, from the position of someone getting surgery, it’s natural to be really nervous and worried, but there was no such thing as a kind consultation.
If I asked, “Can you really make sure I don’t get sausage eyes..?” they would roughly brush it off, saying they couldn’t say anything for certain and that it was bothersome.
I had a line I wanted, so I brought photos and said, “I brought photos of the eyes I want...” => They really barely looked at them, said everyone’s eyes are different and that the line that suits me is important, and so on, basically ignored them, and just kept drawing lines on my eyes.
And on the day of surgery, we just talked for about 2 minutes and then went straight into surgery. Honestly, I’m glad it didn’t turn out badly, but I do think I should have talked a lot more with them about the line.
If anyone reading this has double eyelid surgery coming up, please don’t be shy. Hold onto them and say everything you need to say and ask everything you need to ask.
Feature 2. Cheap price The price was cheap. I remember incisional double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty being in the 900,000 won range.

2. What it’s like 6 years after double eyelid surgery
My eyes seriously still show no sign of loosening. The line is still firmly settled. There’s no difference between 1 year after my double eyelid surgery and now, 6 years later. This is just my prediction, but I really think it won’t loosen until I get old. Please refer to the photos for the result.
3. How long it took for the swelling to go down
First of all, mine was incisional, so it took a long time. I’m not going to say hopeful, nice-to-hear things like, “It all went down in a month~” or “It’s only been a week, but it already looks natural~” If I tell you my real review:
Week 2 - Bruising or gross red swelling lasted until about 1-2 weeks. 1 month - Still very puffy, and anyone could tell I had double eyelid surgery, but the swelling was not gross-looking. Month 3 - At this point, among people meeting me for the first time, it became swelling where about 1 out of 10 could tell I had double eyelid surgery and 9 out of 10 could not. Month 6 - You definitely realize, “Ah, swelling really does go down over 6 months.” It gets more natural day by day. No one meeting me for the first time could tell I had double eyelid surgery. Year 1 - I became no different from someone who had double eyelids from the beginning of time. It became natural, as if I had just always had them.

4. Conclusion and one-line summary ㅇㅎㅂ Plastic Surgery 1. They make it look natural and don’t give you sausage eyes. 2. They perform the surgery well so it absolutely does not loosen. It’s been 6 years and still 3. Personally, I don’t like the line. I wanted double eyelids that got wider toward the outer side, but they did it however they wanted, and the consultation was also unfriendly.
Conclusion: As I said above, ㅇㅎㅂ Plastic Surgery was a clinic where one person would go in and one person would come out nonstop, and a truly large number of people came and went, so I think they have that much experience. Because of that, I predict they probably make sure extreme side effects like sausage eyes don’t happen much (because it didn’t happen to me).
Since they do it well so it absolutely doesn’t loosen for 6 years and looks natural, if you talk a lot during the consultation about what you want for the line, and emphasize and re-emphasize the desired line while explaining it, it seems like it would be a perfect clinic.
