First of all, today is exactly one month since my surgery.
What I most wanted corrected was that my midface is a bit long, and my nose is a bulbous nose, arrow-shaped nose, and long nose, so the most important thing was making it look shorter and lifting the nasal tip. I wanted that fixed, but the silicone was inserted starting from the eyelid level, so the starting point is a bit high. Compared with before surgery, my nasal tip looks more drooped and I think my nasolabial angle has become smaller too (the swelling at the nasal tip may also be affecting it), so I talked to the clinic and decided to have revision surgery around July-August!
But they told me to pay 500,000 won for the revision surgery lol anesthesia fee + labor cost ;; Before surgery, I kept emphasizing that I wanted my nose to look shorter and the nasal tip lifted.
And before surgery, when they said the silicone would start from the eyelid level, I asked if that wasn't a bit high. The doctor said that if the nasal tip is handled well, it won't look long, that my nasal tip was the problem, and confidently said the goal was to make my nose look less long, but after surgery it became even longer? ;; (They said my nasal bone didn't need osteotomy, so I didn't do it.)
So I asked why they were charging money when what I said before surgery wasn't corrected, and instead my nasal tip drooped and my nose looks longer, and they said they couldn't do it because it's cosmetic lolololol
Then they kind of dodged the issue and told me to talk to the manager, so I told the manager it made no sense, and she said she'd talk to the director again.. The manager also admitted that the nasal tip had drooped lol
I'm wondering if this situation even makes sense ^^..
And for the surgery, I said I wanted to lower the silicone starting point or remove the implant ㅠ Then they said lowering the starting point is difficult? They said if the starting point is lowered a lot, an empty space forms or something ;; I don't know why everyone else can do it but I can't haha the more I write, the more I want to curse ^^
1. Remove the implant and re-support the nasal tip (like implant-free surgery) 2. Lower the silicone height and support the nasal tip (3 mm -> 2-2.5 mm) 3. Leave the silicone as is and only re-support the nasal tip
So these are the choices I have. Please recommend what would be best.. I think implant-free surgery, where I don't have to worry about side effects, would be best, but if I remove the silicone, will my wide nasal bones show again..? Should I get osteotomy during revision, sigh ㅠ And having revision surgery and silicone removal at 4 months is a bit scary.. I really can only cry ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ What should I do..
