Is there anyone who lost their sense of smell and taste after facial contouring surgery?

After facial contouring surgery, I woke up from anesthesia, and from the hospital room, my sense of smell and taste had become dull. At first, I thought maybe it was because I was in so much pain and blood was coming out through my nose and mouth, but even now, about 20 days later, I still can’t smell anything and can’t taste anything either. The hospital says facial contouring has nothing to do with smell or taste... I’m so frustrated. Has anyone had an experience like mine?
