Severe eyes… I’m planning to get revision surgery, but if I do it this time it’ll be my 4th surgery, so I’m being really, really careful,. The more consultations I go to, the harder it gets. I’m currently torn between two places, and I’m curious what everyone thinks and whether anyone here has tried them!! First, my eyes are sunken, my skin is thick, the space between my eyebrows and eyes is narrow, and there isn’t much extra skin either One side has a deep fixation, and the other side keeps coming undone, so that’s the problem. I also have scarring,,.

At ㄱㄴㅅㅇ, when I went for the consultation, I felt the doctor was unfriendly, but he also seemed to have pride in his skills, so in a way I felt a bit more trust in him..? He told me he couldn’t guarantee it would turn out well for me, and that if I do it this time and it comes undone again, he’ll only do aftercare/AS once, and after that he can’t do anything more and I should just live with it. I liked that he was honest, but it was also sad.
He said setting the crease line a bit higher than my current eye line would be the direction less likely to come undone, and that if I liked the line he made for me, I should do it, and if not, I shouldn’t. He recommended an outfold, from in-out to semi-out/out.
I liked it when he drew the line for me, but it was the first time anyone had made such a large line on my eyes, so I’m worried it might turn into sausage eyelids.. I don’t think an outfold suits my eyes, and since the doctor is a bit unfriendly, I’m scared whether he’ll take care of me if it fails again.
ㅇㅇㅋ Surgery is possible. Don’t raise the line, and proceed with surgery along the line from the previous surgery. I liked the line they made for me here too. It was lower than ㄱㄴㅅㅇ, but even here the doctor said that even if I have surgery, there’s a possibility it could come undone again. AS for two years.
Honestly, right now one of my eyes has completely come undone and the other is deeply fixed, so the asymmetry is really severe. Without double-eyelid tape, I can’t go about daily life, so I do need surgery, but I’m also scared it’ll fail again, and I’m really torn about where to do it.
