It’s been a week since my revision rhinoplasty, so I went to the hospital to have the splint removed, and I was shocked because my nostrils were so uneven. The director said it could be swelling, so let’s wait and see, but could it really be swelling? Even when the packing was removed, I thought it was probably swelling, but after taking off the splint, the unevenness got even worse And because I had revision surgery for what looked like my silicone implant shifting to one side, they told me to keep the splint on for one more week; But they said it’s okay to take it off when I go outside or wash up, and when I sleep or am at home, I have to put it back on myself;;;; Is it really okay to do it this casually like this…? I’ve never in my life heard of being told to keep a splint on longer because you had revision surgery due to a shifted silicone implant. During this mentally stressful recovery period, I wonder if I’m just being sensitive, but my nostrils, which were perfectly fine before surgery, suddenly became uneven, and before surgery the silicone looked like it was shifted to the right, but today after taking off the splint and looking in the mirror, my nose is shifted to the left, damn it (The photo is after the hospital put a new splint on me)
