Before <before surgery> Before <before surgery><1 week><1 week><2 weeks><2 weeks><1 month><1 month>These are eyes where I had double eyelid surgery with the buried-suture method a long time ago, and then later also had lateral canthoplasty. Back then, I liked them because they looked natural and subtle as inner double eyelids, but over time they felt like they were drooping more and more and looked too dull ㅠ (I had the double eyelid surgery 10 years ago) I thought about clearly redefining the vague line and getting canthoplasty too, partly to get rid of the asymmetry, and spent almost 3 weeks looking around for a hospital worth doing revision surgery at. Since it was revision surgery, I had to see the director's skill as essential, so I think I searched for at least 5 reviews every day on apps for ptosis correction and double eyelid surgery.
When I went for consultations, they said that because of the previous line, doing it with an incisional method would make the line cleaner and it probably wouldn't come undone, so I decided to have incisional ptosis correction together with medial and lower canthoplasty, and had the surgery.
The line still isn't showing precisely because the swelling hasn't fully gone down yet, but maybe because they said they would do the canthoplasty specifically to correct the asymmetry, I no longer feel like my gaze looks scattered when I take front-facing photos haha When the swelling goes down and the line gets prettier, I'll come back to write another review.
