Review of ruby laser for freckles (freckle-faced) Pros - Most freckles disappear completely with just 1 session - If the freckles are severe, you’d probably need 2 or more sessions - It’s different from lasers that only work after multiple sessions Cons - Scabs form on the face and fall off around a week later, and you can’t wear makeup - There is deep skin dryness (I experienced extreme dryness that I personally had never gone through before) - It got better as time passed (about two months) - The director’s hand technique matters (whether pigmentation occurs) - If possible, I recommend getting the procedure from a board-certified dermatologist
