Double Chin Liposuction Review

Even when I weighed 10 kg less than I do now, I always had a double chin, and even at the gym they said there was no answer for my double chin except surgery. But the image I had of liposuction was so scary that I never even considered it. Then one day, related videos about facial liposuction kept popping up on YouTube. After watching before-and-after videos and things like that, I got really tempted, so I booked consultations at 2 places that appeared in those YouTube videos.

Clinic A - Recommended liposuction for the jawline and cheeks (beside the nasolabial folds). They said there could be a lot of improvement. They showed me before-and-after photos of faces similar to mine, and I was really tempted. They also recommended nasolabial fold filler and a facelift. It was a consultation with the director first, then with the manager, but the price was way more expensive than I had expected. Also, the date did not match what I had in mind, so I just left without booking.

Clinic B - Maybe because I went in saying my concern was my double chin, they did not mention any other areas besides the chin at all. They said there would not be a dramatic change in my facial structure. They especially said that even if the cheeks look like fat, because of the muscle shape, it is very difficult to improve them much. They touched my chin fat and said there really was a lot (lololol). They said even with liposuction, the double chin would not disappear completely, but would just become smaller than the volume that used to be pinchable (because of my chin structure). Consultation with the director, then the manager.. the manager was sweet. The price was more expensive than I expected, but much cheaper than Clinic A. They recommended booking the same day, and since the date I wanted was available, I hesitated and then suddenly made a same-day booking.

Clinic B was The CL Clinic (it is okay to disclose the clinic name in a review, right??) I do not remember the price well now. It has already been over a year;; Before the procedure, I think they measured my InBody and did various other things. It was done under sedation anesthesia, and since it was my first time being sedated, I had all sorts of thoughts like, what if sedation anesthesia does not work? and then, what if I cannot open my eyes? After I lay down on the operating table, they said they were giving me an injection, and I remember up to getting the injection, but when I opened my eyes, I was just in the recovery room... The director came over and talked about various things, saying there was more fat than expected and how many millimeters of fat had been suctioned, things like that, but I was not waking up well, so I could not hear properly lololol. If you are going to have sedation anesthesia, I recommend bringing a guardian if possible... Maybe because the recovery room was cozy, I wanted to lie down and sleep more, but someone who looked like a nurse there?? said that if I stayed lying down, my face would swell more, so I sat for a bit and then left. On the day of surgery, I had that face compression band?? on, and my face was seriously swollen like 3 times Hamtori.. It was so fascinating that I even took photos. The anesthesia had not fully worn off, so even when I came home and ate, I kept drooling and spilling everything. But the very next day, my face was only swollen to the point that it just looked like I had gained weight?? During the consultation, they said I could return to daily life from the next day, but I did not think it would really be possible lololol. It was during the Chuseok holiday, and I even traveled during the holiday and went straight back to work after the holiday ended. Because of COVID, I wore a mask around, so I do not think it was very noticeable. Oh, but keeping water from touching the wound area near the tip of the chin was kind of annoying and bothersome.. And my chin definitely felt stiff and painfulㅠㅠ But they said the harder the lumpy areas are, the better the effect later.

I think they said the swelling would last about 4 months. It really did last about that long, not only in my chin but even my cheeks were swollen. But even while the chin was swollen, you could see that it had gotten smaller. Now that all the swelling is completely gone, my face is still so chubby that I wonder if I am really someone who had liposuction (because I gained weight), but when I look at old photos, I can definitely feel the difference in my chin. But people who knew me from before did not notice or anything. It was just like, did you lose a little weight? 정도. I did not tell my parents either, but they said my face looked slimmer and that I had lost weight. It is not like liposuction made me dramatically better-looking or that there is a huge visible difference, but I am still satisfied. I will not upload photos because it is bothersome and embarrassing.. lololol
